WakeYoo started life as my final year design project and was conceived in 1997 — within 12 months of finishing my degree I licensed manufacturing and distribution to Recoton Europe who established retail partners for WakeYoo including Hamleys, Harrods, Selfridges, Dixons, Argos and Firebox.com — selling over 250,000 units in the couple of years it was on sale.

 

 

I have considered doing a WakeYoo 2 but have a feeling that it would perhaps be wiser to make the feature an App rather than to produce something unessential out of plastic (again).
